SHENANDOAH
After a summertime visit in 2017, we knew that we wanted to see more of what Shenandoah National Park had to offer. With over a 100 miles of landscape to cover we knew we could continue to come back to explore, as Shenandoah is relatively close in proximity to New Jersey. In our first trip in 2017, after visiting the Dickey Ridge Visitors Center, we explored the Fox Hollow Trail and pushed ourselves to the top of the Little Devils Stairs Trail through humidity and pure exhaustion. When we returned in the fall of 2019, we were able to cover more ground because we had more time. After tackling the fan favorite Old Rag Mountain Trail, we also had the chance to explore White Oak Canyon Trail and the Stony Many Mountain Trail. In future visits to the park we would like to hike Hawksbill Mountain and head to the far south to see a totally different area and experience new hiking adventures!
